I am giving you an excellent rating here but I want you to know that I made an appointment on October 22 to bring my car in for service. The time was 7:30. I told Manny I would wait for the car. He told me technicians didn't start until 8 and that I would probably have to wait 90 minutes to 2 hours. I told him that was fine and that I would wait. I did wait (in the waiting room) for nearly two hours. Manny approached me at about the time the car should have been ready and told me he couldn't service the car because the two lifts were occupied and he had no estimate for when they would be available. He offered to provide a Lyft so I could go home but could not (when I explicitly asked) tell me when the car would be ready or whether it would be serviced on that day. He went to get the car out of the parking area. When he returned, I say, "Let's do this. My wife and I both need our cars today and since you can't tell me whether the car will even get in for service, I will drive it home. Look at your calendar and call me with a time and day that you are sure will work for your mechanics." Manny agreed and I went home. The 22 was on a Wednesday. Manny called me the following Monday on the 27. I made an appointment to bring the car back and I waited again for the service to be completed. He gave me the same 90 minute to 2 hour time frame. The car took about an hour and the service was performed. I didn't and don't blame Manny for what happened on the 22nd but I find it hard to understand how he didn't know the lifts were occupied and unlikely to be available when I brought the car in at 7:30. It seems someone in the shop was not communicating with him or vice versa. I appreciate that the service was completed and appreciate Manny's customer service but cannot say I was completely satisfied with my first experience getting the first service completed at your dealership.

2024 Colorado and there's a radiator leak? Terrible quality. I asked if they would automatically change the thermostat but was told no. It used to be a mandatory practice but not anymore because it would then be GM Warranty. So, they'll put in new radiator and it will fail again but next time it will be out of warranty so not GM 's probably.

The service host, manager, Manny was great. He did everything to address my needs. However, he could not help the mismanagement in the service department itself. I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of service I received on my 2024 Colorado. I brought the truck in for what appeared to be a coolant leak. After keeping it all day, I was told it needed a radiator — highly unusual for an almost new vehicle. A radiator was ordered and the front of the engine was disassembled, only to later determine it was simply a failed upper radiator hose — a relatively simple repair. It then took a full week to get the hose, costing me rental car charges. When the truck was returned, there was clearly no proper quality control check — a week later the A/C would not blow cold, and I had to bring it back again because coolant had not been properly restored during the prior repair. I also raised the concern that a sticking thermostat could have contributed to the hose failure. Replacing a thermostat during cooling system repairs has long been standard preventative practice, and it is an inexpensive component. I was told it cannot be replaced under warranty unless it fails completely and causes overheating — meaning I am expected to wait for another breakdown instead of preventing one. In the end, what should have been a straightforward radiator hose replacement likely cost GM thousands of dollars in unnecessary diagnostics, teardown labor, parts handling, repeat service time, and rental reimbursement — easily approaching $4,000 in total internal cost — all over a simple hose failure. This experience has significantly reduced my confidence in your service department.

Service Department staff is always professional, and hospitable. The fact that I was charged $2500 for a service on my 2018 Chevy Silverware 2500HD and when I picked up the truck it was dirtier than when I brought it in ranks this experience a 3 out of 5; I should give it a 2 out of 5 but I want the staff that helped me check in and out get the kudos they deserve. I had the drain tubes in my sunroof cleaned and charged $515. There is now motor oil and grease on my head liner that I need to take to an independent detailing service to get cleaned. Shameful business practices. Can I recommend Jimmy Vasser dealerships or service departments…no. But I certainly can share my experiences with everyone.
